What a difference a stretchy bind off makes!!!

Finished my first pair of socks this morning at 6 AM!
Many thanks to DL and GerryArt for all their help and encouragement.

Going to shop for some more sock yarn now!!!  I have a couple of patterns I want to try!!

Afghans for Angels

During Lent, instead of giving up something, I chose to use my knitting/crocheting time to make
Afghans for Angels.
this was such a worthwhile use of my time.  My step-son had given me 4 skeins of baby yarn, and i decided that this was the perfect fit!

Our Unofficial Mascot: We need a name

I made this for Betty as a thank you for hostessing a wonderful dinner for London friends Carol and Martyn.
We need to name this little chicklet/rooster/mascot, don't you think?

March Madness

My needles and hooks have been busy this month.  Making gifts, and making small baby blankets to be donated to Afghans for Angels.  I don't have all my pictures, but this is a start to getting caught up.
