Jelly Roll Quilt Top: The finale

Most of you know what happened.  I made that pretty jelly roll quilt top, then thought I should wash it before I put it together.  WELL, it raveled out at many of the seams.  So, I re-sewed some seams, did a lot of cutting and putting back togeher and.....I made myself a little tote bag that will hold my knitting, papers, or whatever.
Then, since I had the sewing machine purring, I got my placemats out and have made one of many summer purses.

THEN, a woman at church asked our group to make little stuffed animals or dolls for grab bags for the little ones to take into church.  so I made this little dolly.

That's all for now.  Aren't you happy I put them all in ONE blog, instead of three separate ones?

  1. You have been busy. The little dolly is really cute and should occupy a little one in church for a little while.

  3. Glad to hear you salvaged the Jelly Roll Race Quilt top. This is a good lessson to wash the fabric before you cut. Another one of those live and learn things. The tote bag turned out cute. You will enjoy that summer purse and some little child will adore the littlesoft dolly. Talk about productive!!!
