In the Knitscene Accessories 2012, there are several patterns I plan on doing. I've completed two, one of which is the Putney Shawl. My pictures aren't the best, but I had to share with you. After I block the shawl, I'll take better pictures.
This was a really FUN shawl to make.
I love the edge, which was very easy to pick up and knit.
I used one skein Sensations Breeze, a light weight self-patterning yarn, I found at Joann's.
I like this fun colorful shawl. Hope to see it at Knit Nite.
ReplyDeleteIt will indeed be in the presence of all you great ladies!!!!!
DeleteYou got that yarn at JoAnn's?!!! It's perfect for this shawl. Love the way it striped. Can't wait to see this in person. You did a fantastic job.
ReplyDeletethank you thank you. They had different colors in the yarn, but I thought this looked summery!!!
DeleteGlorious Rainbow of Color, Paula B! ! ! ! ! !
ReplyDeleteCome on, Autumn ! ! ! We could use some cool weather so that we can show-off our shawls, don't ya think????

Is it not absolutely amazing? I love that pattern. I made the Roam Cowl that is in the magazine, too, and am ready to start the Zora shawl; just have to get into my stash of sock yarn...oh my, oh my!!!!
DeleteVery pretty! Colorful stripes! Looking forward to seeing you model it--for a very short time--in this hot weather.
