My, oh my, my little hands are tired. I still have one more set of wristlets to make; they are about 2.5 inches along.
BUT, what I have finished is below.
Susie's Reading Mitts:
Made with hand-dyed yarn from my favorite little yarn store in Kansas.
For Good Hat:
Girl's Helmet Cap:
The helmet cap is from an old pattern my mom had. Many thanks to Miss Hilda, the model (even though she has a SMALL head). The hats will be given to charity; the mitts to my future daughter-in-law!!!! Yay!!! Nick is engaged!!!
Love, love, love those fingerless mitts. The hats are great too. I finally found buttons worthy of teh For Good hat and hope to get it finished today. The knitting has been done for a week but the quest for the buttons turned out to take longer than I expected.
ReplyDeleteThanks. If I get the wristlets done, I want to make another For Good Hat. That pattern is just intriguing.
ReplyDeleteHoly, moly !

Hat and Helmet, too? Fantastic !
You're so into winter wear with these FOs.
Hugs
Yes, I'm still into instant gratification. We have a charity "tree" at church for mittens, scarves and hats for children in the community. I'm trying to fill those branches!!!
DeleteLove the Susie's reading mitts. I see another pair in the future.
Charity knits are always in fashion.
DeleteLots of Good Karma, my dear

All are very nice. You sure do get a lot of knitting done. DIL should love those stylish mitts. I am sure she will want more of your great knits.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty much all I do when I am watching TV (except for naptime, I'm ALWAYS knitting).
DeleteMiss Jill has a couple of scarves, and I have a hat she might like, too!!!
Thanks for your comments.
You are really turning out darling projects. The hat with the button intrigues me.
ReplyDeleteI agree that charity projects are always fun to make!
Hugs!
thanks. I have one more hat going for the charity, and some fingerless mitts for a friend, then back to my "want to make" list.
