Little bunny has been helping me keep a secret...
Wait, little bunny, where are you going?
Ah, do you see a field of clover in the background?
Oh, you little trickster!!!!! You're showing everyone the jelly roll quilt top I just finished!!!
I decided to use up my scraps, instead of investing a LOT of money on a pre-made jelly roll. It's definitely green!!! But I LIKE it!!! It is 47 inches by 65 inches. Now I have to decide if I want to make it a child's quilt, or cut it up and make a crib size quilt and the rest for a tote bag... HMMMM, I'll have to ponder that one.
Love my Mary Englebrecht! Thanks to DL, who inspired me to try this. I'm proud to be a copy cat, since I seem to HAVE to try what you all are doing. I only burned myself on the iron once!!!
I should have warned you that bunnies can NOT keep a secret. Glad this one didn't. I'm so happy to see that you made a Jelly Roll Race Quilt. Aren't they fun?!!! As you mentioned, there are lots of possiblities after sewing all the strips together. Have fun deciding what you will do with it. I'm proud of you!!!

It was a productive day. Leaning towards a tote and small blanket. Now, should I work on my shawl or another tiny bunny?
DeleteBunny, Bunny, Bunny ! ! !
DeleteYour wish is my command!!!
DeleteA blanket and a tote or a blanket with a bunny appliqued on it???
ReplyDeleteNo bunnies on this one. I think a small quilt and a tote would be perfect!!! Now i just have to figure out how to do that!
