Looks like a deflated football, right?
Gotcha!!!! It's Silver Lining Hat, a free download from Knitting Daily. Click on the title of this blog to go to the page. The hat was designed by Kirsten Hipsky of Valley Yarns. I was intrigued and HAD to try it. It starts top down with one color, then switch to the second color. Thanks to magic loop, it was a breeze to get started (and to finish). I don't know that I will ever make another one, but it was fun to do.
I saw that in the newsletter and wanted to try it to. I was unable to download the pattern for some reason. You did a fabulous job.
ReplyDeleteEvelyn over at StashEL has made several of this for the men in her family. So much fun to knit and to gift.
ReplyDeleteYour's look GREAT ! ! !

and a very good stash buster.
You did a great job making the "Silver Lining Hat." I also saw it in the newsletter, but I decided I wouldn't make it because it uses really fine yarn.
ReplyDeleteVery unique. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Betty. It was fun to make, but looked so big!!!
