The LONG road to finishing a UFO

FINALLY, after starting this shawl over a year ago, I got this beauty done!!!!  It's a 10 row repeat, with either one stitch increased or one stitch decreased every 10 rows.  It got to be a little monotonous, so I put it down last fall, and made LOTS of other things.  Last week, after Knit Nite, I picked it up and got it finished in five days!!!  I was at the halfway point then.  It's around 84 inches long, and 11 inches wide.  It is a pattern from Jane Austen Knits Summer 2012.

One more major UFO to finish up, then it's back to knitting for Christmas gifts, and getting some things in my queue started (and finished!)

I'll bring it to Knit Nite, since you'll be gone from Cluckfest this month!

    1. I've already got 3 half-finished projects to go, before I start any new ones, but that probably won't stop me!!!

  4. Looks very good! I agree that sometimes we need mindless knits and sometimes they just get too long and boring. Great accomplishment!
