We got the tree up over Thanksgiving, then this week, I got the Nativity sets put up. The large one was purchased at Sam's Club several years ago, and it is what I focus on when the hustle and bustle starts getting to me!!! Enjoy!!
A lot of ornaments went home with Nick, along with a taller tree we no longer use.
This table has my angels, and some lit ornaments that change color while they are on. It is really pretty!!! The insides of the ornaments are glass-blown figures.
I love to knit, crochet, and now, thanks to winning a sewing machine, a renewed interest in sewing.

PARTY TIME!!!!!!
Just in time for our Christmas party last Saturday, (you know the one where there was a lot of police activity), I made this little purse to take with me. I got lots of compliments, and have another "money-making" idea for the future.
Of course, I put pockets on the inside. All made from a napkin and a placemat!!!
How about that?

Two more little precious stockings
okay, okay, here are the first, and last, (for a while) little stockings. They are so fun and quick to make!!
The above is made close to the pattern; more pastel than bold colors.

This is my favorite!!! Perhaps because it is Christmas season.
They average 3.5 to 4.5 inches, using an 'F' hook.
Enjoy!!!

Thank you, GerryArt!!
My sweet, dear friend sent a link, and I couldn't resist trying out the pattern. This is my prototype of the little stocking. I now have in my possession, a myriad of colors to make some stockings similar to that on the web site. I plan to use a smaller hook, so they should be smaller and cuter. Thanks, Gerry!!!
Forgive me, Kansas!!!!
Well, the MU bug hit me, only because my step-son graduated from there, and is a successful veterinarian, and an avid MU fan. Also, a sweet young girl in Sam's Sunday school class, who touched my heart, is going to MU next fall. So..... I had to make a couple of scarves for them. I had to!!!
This is a pocket scarf from the book "60 Quick Knits: 20 scarves, 20 hats, 20 mittens in Cascade 220".
The pockets are for MP3 players, phones, other small things. It should look good on that young girl.
I had enough leftover of Vanna's Choice Mustard and Black to crochet a quick, man-looking scarf for the step-son.
Not bad for a little girl from Kansas, huh!
