The recuperative powers of knitting and crocheting

Wow!! I got a lot of projects done in my six weeks of healing from surgery. It took forever to get them all on my Ravelry page. Had to fudge on a few dates, but it's close enough!! Now I'm ready for my Advent shawl, which is one clue a day for the days of Advent, which starts November 30. It calmed me last year when I had it to work on, and kept me focused on the true meaning of the season. Plus, I'm going to need a project to work on during my recuperation from upcoming gum graft surgery, which is December 2. The fun never ends!!

Happy Thanksgiving, dear friends!! Love and hugs to all!

Now, for the projects:

Unforgettable Panama Hat, with crochet-embellished buttons

Baby bootie rain boots
Chicken ornaments
Test knit sock turned into pouch
In Threes cardigan
Child's cap
Tilted blocks baby blanket
Boot cuffs
I think that's it!!

I made this little jacket based on Elizabeth Zimmermann's baby surprise jacket. Made for a 2T, from Tonalita & Intermezzo Ruffled Jacket. I hope baby A's mom likes it!

Calla Lily booties

I took two different patterns and spliced them together to make Calla Lily booties. A friend is expecting a great-granddaughter who will be named Lily. What do you think?

Cheer Up!

I was asked to make a little romper/sun suit for a friend's granddaughter. It took ten days, and so stinkin' cute! I hope I can keep it until cluckfest so you can all ooh aah!

Afghans for Angels

During Lent, instead of giving up something, I chose to use my knitting/crocheting time to make
Afghans for Angels.
this was such a worthwhile use of my time.  My step-son had given me 4 skeins of baby yarn, and i decided that this was the perfect fit!
