Happy Thanksgiving

The feast is over, the dishes done, the men are watching football, so I thought I'd post a couple of things I've finished.

First of all, I'm so thankful to call you my friends!!!!!  I am truly blessed!!!

Okay, project #1:  Crocheted wristlets from Lionbrand (Pattern L10480).  I modified the pattern or they would have gone to my elbows.  Quick crochet!!!

Project #2:  Googie dishcloth

I found this pattern on Running Jack Knits blog by Wendy Poush.  It is blocking right now.  It's a boomerang shaped washcloth.  Made it this morning.  The shape intrigued me.

Enjoy your family, friends, and other blessings, now and tomorrow!!!

  1. Wonderful Thanksgiving Day with Family.
Hubby and I had dinner at DD#2's
my youngest brother phone while we were then so we all got to speak with each other while he waited for his company to arrive
Ate, relax, and had great conversations throughout the day.
Great looking mitts, nice and thick for warmth.

We all could use a dishcloth like this today - special dishcloth for a special day cleanout.

is it time for another piece of pie? If so, I would like Reddi Whip high atop my piece,

Glad you had a good day, too.

    1. I knew you'd love the red wristlets. The dishcloth is strange, but I love it!!!
Safe journey for you and Ed, and enjoy the family.

  3. I can see why you wanted to knit that interesting dishcloth. That shape is very different. Those red wristlets are just in time for the Christmas season.

    1. It's a neat pattern. Before I blocked it, it was like there was a "pouch" for the hand to fit in. I'll bring it Wednesday. Hope you're well enough to come!!!

  5. Thank you, Betty. They are warm, especially when I wear them in 72 degree weather:) It will eventually turn cold. they may be a gift; haven't decided yet.
