Got this done at 3:15 this afternoon, one day before Feb. FO "contest" on one of the forums I follow, and two weeks before the KAL on another forum is deadlined. This one ended with only 412 stitches; bulky yarn and size 9 needles. My great-nephew will look stylin' in this, I'm sure.

I think I'm finished with all my baby items. At least for a few months, I hope!!!!
I love to knit, crochet, and now, thanks to winning a sewing machine, a renewed interest in sewing.

Two more crossed off the list
I have two more baby gifts done and ready for the mail. I THINK I am on the last one, so no one else can have a baby for a while!!!
Simple rolled brim hat:
Basketweave/ garter stitch blanket: (I improvised the pattern)
I'm halfway finished with the final blanket; another from the center out, which I really like to do:
Not the best picture. It's blue and white. There are two more dark blue sections done since this picture.

Yoda
My childhood friend is expecting her first grandbaby, and her son loves all things Star Wars. I found this pattern, and had to make it. Too cute. I had to use my cinnamon sugar bottle, since I don't have any baby bottles around here..but you get the idea!!!

Twinkle is finished!!!
This was a great pattern!!! I found an error, let the creator know, and she fixed it in a flash!!! I have a feeling I will be making another one of these. It needs to be blocked to get the "small hump" out of the middle. I have enough yarn left to make booties and a hat.

Awesome tote bag for a walker
My dear friend asked me to make her a new tote for her walker. I took measurements and pictures of hers, came home, then found some pre-quilted material in my stash. A round of bias tape, a seam up the middle, 4 buttonholes, and 4 buttons later, TA DA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also discovered my sewing machine actually sews on the buttons!!!!! I am in heaven!! So easy, peasy, and she loves blue, so it should work just fine.
