Busy little hands

My, oh my, my little hands are tired.  I still have one more set of wristlets to make; they are about 2.5 inches along.
BUT,  what I have finished is below.

Susie's Reading Mitts:

Made with hand-dyed yarn from my favorite little yarn store in Kansas.

For Good Hat:

Girl's Helmet Cap:

The helmet cap is from an old pattern my mom had.  Many thanks to Miss Hilda, the model (even though she has a SMALL head).  The hats will be given to charity; the mitts to my future daughter-in-law!!!!  Yay!!!  Nick is engaged!!!

  1. Love, love, love those fingerless mitts. The hats are great too. I finally found buttons worthy of teh For Good hat and hope to get it finished today. The knitting has been done for a week but the quest for the buttons turned out to take longer than I expected.

    1. Yes, I'm still into instant gratification. We have a charity "tree" at church for mittens, scarves and hats for children in the community. I'm trying to fill those branches!!!
Love the Susie's reading mitts. I see another pair in the future.

    1. That's pretty much all I do when I am watching TV (except for naptime, I'm ALWAYS knitting).
Miss Jill has a couple of scarves, and I have a hat she might like, too!!!
      Thanks for your comments.
