Twinkle, twinkle, little star

We're welcoming a baby girl into our family in June.  I found this pattern on Ravelry and fell in love!!!  It's worked from the middle out, and will be a square blanket...haven't figured that part out yet, but I'll bet it has to do with the short rows on the edging.  I'm about 1/3 of the way done, and just love this pattern!!  If you look close, you'll see the little stars in the pattern.

  1. I clicked on the pic to make it bigger and I did see the stars. The colors are lovely together (is the yarn different colors or are you using different skeins?) Either way, it's going to be a beautiful blanket for that lucky little girl.

    1. It is Bernat baby jacquards, and it stripes itself. I don't know how it will look as the blanket grows, but the edges are usually wrapped around the baby anyway!!!
      Thanks for the comment!

  2. This is FANTASTIC, Paula ! ! ! !

Love this pink. The square motif is already totally apparent. Be certain to keep us posted.

    1. thank you, dahling. I LOVE this pattern!!!! It's a 6 row repeat, until the edging, so it doesn't take much brain power...you know how little I have!
